Setting Up HYDRA

In this guide we’ll show you how to set up an ultra secure connection to our servers using HYDRA.

First, a bit about our VPN service:

With HYDRA

You connect to our gateway over a secure VPN tunnel. Your traffic is then routed securely over another VPN tunnel to a random server node, before exiting to the public internet. This makes it virtually impossible for anyone to compare outgoing traffic from your computer to traffic leaving our servers.

Best Case Usage: Use HYDRA servers when you want the highest level of security and speed or geolocation isn’t a consideration.

Without HYDRA

In a regular connection to our servers, you connect to a gateway over a secure VPN tunnel, and your traffic exits our network to the public internet from that gateway. Your traffic is mixed in with other users on that server to randomize the data as much as possible.

Best Case Usage: Use regular VPN connections when you need the highest speeds or precise geo-location.
